About CLI |
| CLI
began in 1984 as an affiliate of Johnson & Johnson with the charter
to develop a series of mechanical sector probes for its line of ultrasound
scanners. Johnson & Johnson later divested itself of its ultrasound
activities and soon thereafter the two lead design engineers, Paul
Meyers and Julian Dow, formed CLI. CLI's first commercial OEM products
were launched within the ophthalmic ultrasound market where CLI quickly
became the world's leading supplier of ophthalmic imaging probes.
Since that time, CLI has expanded its product line to include many different types of sector scanning probes, high-frequency, thin-film transducers and, most recently, launched a series of ultrasound-specific electronic sub-systems.
